Update (3/5/09): Michael Jackson announced today in London that he will perform for the last time in that city this summer at the O2 arena. Tickets go on sale March 13 for 10 performances, beginning July 8, and will cost $75 – $105. Visit www.michaeljacksonlive.com to purchase tickets.

The  King of Pop will likely perform hits from his 1982 album Thriller, which is still the biggest-selling album of all time, along with Bad, the first album in music history to produce five #1 hits. The stage show for Bad became the highest-grossing concert tour of all time. Jackson was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.

(3/3/09) The London press is reporting Michael Jackson, the still-beloved Prince of Motown and King of Pop, may perform this summer at London’s state-of-the-art O2 arena. Jackson is set to make a special announcement on Thursday at the arena, so we’ll see…
